(In this essay I will compare and contrast Camp Big Apple, and Ranch West Camp.)
First, I will talk about education and teachers. Big Apple's teachers are high-educated, they are Korean professors with at least a Masters degree, and some have their Doctorate. In on hand, it's really good point, but in the other hand, we don't know they studied and major in English or not, and they are Korean. But, Ranch West's teachers are recent graduates from the local University of Canada, so they can be better. Of course, they are almost same age as us, so they'll know our problem, and solve it.
Second, is about opportunities to use English with local people, in Camp Big Apple, they can use Korean in the dorm(they're from aroun the world, but there will be some Korean student, and also they aren't Native Speaker), compared to the Big Apple, Ranch West is much better, students will stay in home-stay situdation, and it means we can talk with local people so often.
Third, I will talk about their subject. We can choose our subjects in Ranch West, contrasted with that we can't choose our subject in Big Apple. We can choose in Math, Art, History, Science, Politics... , so we can have more fun, too.
Last, is about activities. In Camp Big Apple, activities will be like tours of the city, trips to local museums, and tickets to Broadway shows. In one hand, it will be good for learn, but in the other hand, we need rests and play, too. We need physical activities to be healthy. Also, Camp Big Apple's activities can be dangerous, too, because sometimes cities are really dangerous. So we need physicla and natural activities, like hiking, canoeing, Ranch West Camp's activities include it.
So, I think Ranch West Camp is better than Camp Big Apple.
